Our FREE* furniture pick up service is for gently used couches & sectionals. We may able to remove other non-couch items on a case-by-case basis, but they may be subject to a fee.

Why Do We Provide A Free Couch Removal & Furniture Donation Pick Up Service?

Whether you’re in the process of upgrading your current furniture, planning a move, or just looking to free up space in your home, you need an efficient and reliable way to get rid of your old furniture.

This is where we come in! Rather than paying for a junk removal service to toss your old furniture in a landfill and add to local furniture waste, we approach it a bit differently.

Instead, we offer FREE furniture pick up/removal with the our top priority being to keep furniture in circulation and out of landfills.

When you choose to donate your old furniture to Sofa Savers, your choosing to give your furniture a second life and help the environment in the process.

Following pickup, we clean, refurbish, and resell your furniture at an affordable price. Additionally, we donate a portion of proceeds to local charities. Since we’re not a non-profit we’re unable to provide a donation receipt, however we can help ensure that your old furniture will have a big impact quickly. 

Since many non-profits have a limited service range or are backed up on pick-ups we hope to help by providing a very quick turnaround on removal while still benefiting local charities.

Sofa Savers aims to make furniture donations/pick ups in the Ann Arbor and surrounding areas an easy and convenient process. We work around your schedule and pick up your old furniture and haul it away. We’ll do all of the heavy lifting/moving so there’s no need to worry about trying to move it yourself.

Not sure if your couch meets the criteria for free removal/pick up? Don’t be. Even if your furniture doesn’t meet our requirements for free pick up, we can haul it away for a fee and still donate a portion to local charities.

When Should You Submit The Form?

While we aim to have a quick turnaround time, it’s still best to submit the form as soon as possible.This allows us to schedule pick ups multiple days/weeks in advance if needed so we can best convenience your schedule.

Additionally, requesting a pick up is free so there is no cost if you need to cancel your scheduled appointment.

Please Note

Furniture that is seriously damaged or permanently stained is subject to a removal fee. Submitting the couch removal form helps us to assess if we’ll need to charge a removal fee.
